Final out

It feels like I have been covering a lot of "the final day" stories lately.  I covered the last game at Tracy High's Peter B. Kyne Stadium last fall and this week I covered the final baseball game at Tracy High home field on campus.  The diamond will be demolished to make way for the new football stadium set to start construction this year.
The team will most likely make their new home field at Monte Vista School's diamond now used by the Babe Ruth league.  It was the same field Tracy High used when started working at the Tracy Press.
There are so many changes with new youth league sports fields underway, who knows where teams will be playing  in the future.
The Bulldogs left their diamond for the last time with a victory, a good ending for the last innings on their home turf.
